Parking Lot Signs, Striping, and More

• Line Striping: Restripe or New Layout Line Striping using existing layout, plan, and city codes as a guide. Water Based, Oil Based, or Chlorinated Rubber-Based Traffic Paint to be used. Paint to be applied per product specs. Stencils to be included.
• Signage and Bollards: ADA Signs, Stop Signs, Yield Signs, Bollards, etc. We can provide and install them all.
• Wheel Stops: Mt and Sons Can provide and Install Concrete Precast Wheel Stops.
• Speed Bumps: We can Install Concrete/Asphalt Speed Bumps.

Grade / Stabilization / Base

• Minor Grading: MT and Sons can Grade Small to Medium Size projects to +/- 0.10’ to allow for proper drainage.
• Crushed Concrete Flex Base: Install Crushed Concrete Flex Base as needed per project – Water and Compact.
• Scarify and Compact: Scarify is typically done to a depth of 6”. It can be Dry or Moisture Conditioning and is typically compacted to a 95% of the Standard Proctor Density.
• Slab Moister Conditioning: Slab Moister Conditioning is typically excavated to a depth of 6-8’. Water and compacted in lifts of 6” – With the top 12” installed with a Crushed Concrete Flex Base Cap. Excess spoils to be hauled off or respread onsite.
• Cement Stabilization: The Standard Cement Stabilization will be done to a depth of 6”. Then mix 6-8% of Cement Slurry into the subgrade and fine graded.
• Lime Stabilization: The Standard Cement Stabilization will be done to a depth of 6”. Then mix 6-8% of Lime Slurry into the subgrade and fine graded.

• ADA Signage and Line Striping: Will be installed by standard city codes.

ADADA Parking and Walkways

• ADA Parking Stalls: Will be poured free from Obstruction or Trip Hazards and will not exceed a slope of 2.08% in any direction.
• ADA Sidewalks: Will be poured free from Obstruction or Trip Hazards and will not exceed a Cross Slope of 2% and a Running Slope of 5%.
• ADA Crosswalks: Will follow the same as ADA Sidewalk but will have Line Striping to clearly indicate Path of Travel.
• ADA Ramps and Barrier Free Ramps: Will be poured free from Obstruction or Trip Hazards and will not exceed a Cross Slope of 2.1% and a Running Slope of 8.3%. Landings will be required at the top and bottom of the ramp. The Maximum Rise for a Single Ramp Run is 30 Inches before landing will need to be introduced. Handrails will be required on ramps with a greater rise than 6” (MT and Sons Can Fabricate, Paint, and Install Standard HC Railing). Ramp Edge Protection such as a curb is required to prevent wheelchairs from slipping.
• ADA Signage and Line Striping: Will be installed by standard city codes.

Demolition

• Saw cut existing pavement, curbs, and sidewalks to the existing depth and haul off spoils. Saw cut slurry to be vacuumed and removed. Barricades to be installed and maintained for the duration of the project.

Subgrade Preparation

• Excavation as needed for additional depth or to remove weak subgrade. Install crushed concrete flex base, fine grade to allow for proper drainage, and compact as necessary.

Concrete Repairs

• Concrete Pavement Repairs: The Standard Pavement Repair is 6” deep, reinforced with #3 rebar 18” o.c.e.w. Standard Pavement Repair is poured with 3,500 PSI concrete and a broom finish.
• Concrete Sidewalk Repairs: The Standard Sidewalk Repair is 4” deep, reinforced with #3 rebar 24” o.c.e.w. Standard Sidewalk is poured with 3,000 PSI concrete and a broom finish.
• Curb Repairs: The Standard Curb is 6” Tall, reinforced with (1) continuous #3 rebar. Standard Curb is poured with 3,500 PSI concrete and a broom finish. Can be poured Integral with Pavement or as a Curb and Gutter.
• Concrete Patch: Clean the proposed area of any loose or chugged Concrete. Apply Concrete Patch – Typically Ardex CP will be used.
• Stamped and Color Concrete: Mt and Sons can help source and install Stamped and Color Concrete. Matching as close as possible to the existing design.

Asphalt Repairs

• Full Depth Asphalt Repairs: The Standard Asphalt Repair is 6” deep. Tack and install 4” of Type “B” and 2” of Type “D” TxDot Approved Hot Mix Asphalt. Compacting in 2” Lifts.
• Asphalt Overlay: The Standard Asphalt Overlay is 2” Thick. The Surface would be cleaned with Compressed Air or a Power Broom. Tack and Install 2” of Type “D” TxDot Approved Hot Mix Asphalt. Compact.
• Asphalt Potholes: The Standard Asphalt Potholes vary in depth. The Surface would be cleaned with Compressed Air or a Power Broom. Tack and Install Type “D” TxDot Approved Hot Mix Asphalt to level the Pothole. Compact.
• Seal Coat: The Standard Asphalt Seal Coat will be cleaned with Compressed Air or a Power Broom. (2) Coats of Coal Tar Asphalt Seal Coat will be applied.
• Cement Stabilization and Overlay: The Standard Cement Stabilization will be done to a depth of 8” and the Standard Asphalt Overlay is 2” Thick. The existing Asphalt Paving will be pulverized and mixed into the subgrade. The top 2” inches will be excavated and hauled off. Then 6-8% of Cement Slurry will be mixed into the subgrade and fine graded. Once cured we will install a 2” overlay.

Striping

• Parking Lot Repair Striping: Upon Request we can Line Stripe Damaged or Removed Striping caused by Construction. We can also Re-Stripe the Entire Parking Lot with Pressure Washing and Brooming Options to help ensure longevity.
